That Barry Girl Foundation donated a dozen of Fanny's I Wish I Knew series to Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Center as part of the collaboration with Synergy Yoga for Breast Cancer Awareness month. The books offer emotional support to women in treatment for breast cancer. For Breast Cancer Awareness month, two dollars from each cash class payment at the Synergy's North Beach yoga studio went toward the donation. Fanny presented the books to the Cancer Center during their Spa day which encourages patients to take special care of themselves in special ways while in treatment, a common theme in Fanny's books. That Barry Girl was thrilled to partner with Synergy to help breast cancer patients through yoga practice. Namaste!
